- A little about the Star Office suite by Sun Microsystems. What about the Open Office clone of the comercial Star Office?

- What editors are there for the unix environment. A little on how they work.

- What word processors exist for unix? Pros and Cons, ease of use, compatibility issues.
- Use of Cron to Schedule System Maintenance
- How cron can be used to schedule system maitenance scripts/commands. Is this safe? How to maintain the crontab.
- Window Managers
- What window managers exist on the unix platforms? Compatibility with older versions of X.
