Search, Find, and Read Some More
Last modified by Steve Custer 30 September 2005
Introduction
This time has been left open to give you time to finish searching, find
the final resources and of course, read what you have found.
Goal
Provide time for work
Objectives
Provide time for student work on the research for their paper.
Your instructor will be near the QE's in the Library today so you can ask
questions or resolve problems you have encountered. (Role will not
be taken. This is time allocated for your research. Please use
it wisely.
Assignments
Due Today
Nothing. Please continue to search, find, and journal articles.
Next Meeting's Assignment:
The time for research is nearly over. Time to write. You will
turn in two copies of your
References Cited section in correct format at the next meeting. Your
instructor will keep one for future comparison, and will return one with any
corrections. There should be none. We have been practicing the
format for a long time. Be sure the format is correct. You may
remove references you do not use in the remaining drafts of your paper this
semester, but may not add references with out written permission.
Time Commitment
3 hours searching, finding and most definitely reading. You
should be reading much more than searching at this point.
Grade
This is an ungraded exercise to give you the time to do the background
work necessary to start writing.
