Introduction

Last meeting you were instructed on the use of GeoRef.  This meeting you will use GeoRef to find some resources and then go the stacks and obtain them.
 

Goal

Practice selection of key words
Practice use of electronic search engines
Location practice for materials found in a search
Practice expanding resource base from found materials
 

Objectives

Complete the Topic Identification and Search Strategy Exercise
    Identify key words relevant to your topic area
    Do a GeoRef Search.
    Locate one or more relevant materials identified in  the search in the stacks
    Use found material References Cited section to expand your resource base

Assignments

Due Today

Bring the LC/SuDoc location of materials exercise assigned at the last meeting and give it  to your instructor.
Your instructor will be east of the QE's.  This is attendance.  If you don't finish the work give your instructor
a sheet of paper with your name on it.  See instructor or TA if you did not get an exercise.
