 Unique Sequence of Presentation
An issue concerning the 200 level A&P taught at the MSU-Billings, College of Technology has come up and should probably be addressed in some manner on the matrix. Our sequence of presentation presently includes blood, heart, circulation, and respiration in semester one and moves muscle and nerve to semester two. We teach A&P in this sequence to support our Paramedic program which requires cardiopulmonary information in semester one. However, most typical 200 level A&P courses teach muscle and nerve in semester one and blood, heart, circulation and respiration in semester two. Therefore, our A&P would only be transferable as an articulated whole (e.g., We could not accept A&P I as a single course from another institution since the student would repeat muscle and nerve in our A&P II and would never see blood, heart, circulation, and respiration). However, our A&P as a whole should transfer to anywhere else and other 200 level A&P courses would transfer to us as a whole.
