Title: Avian Communities Along the Middle and Lower Yellowstone River
Contact: Danielle Jones
Funding: Nature Conservancy
Abstract:
We are currently conducting a pilot study to document characteristics of bird communities along the extent of the Middle and Lower Yellowstone River from approximately Springdale, Montana to its confluence with the Missouri River. We are hoping to provide knowledge for creating a detailed study plan for a larger avian study that will be conducted in the future. The goal of the larger study is to evaluate how cumulative human factors influence avian populations along the Middle and Lower Yellowstone River.
