Stith Family Members

A little background information on this family.  They came to this county in the 1600's.   They were one of the first settler here according information that was given to me.   They helped with the writting of the Constitution of the United States.  Were well educated people.  Quite a few of them attened College in the East.  From what I understand there was one that came to Fort Benton Montana and he was a cabnet maker and he built the hotel that is there. They say that the work is outstand.  The find work is really fantastic.  One of his family members wrote a book about him but I haven't read it yet.  It is out of print but there is a copy at the Montana Historical Society Library in Helena Montana.
