Description

Geographic Information Science Fundamentals in the context of developing a research program. Spatial data principles, data models, conversion and sampling strategies, analysis methods and cartography. Lab exercises uses GIS software. Students specialty area explored through literature review and individual project. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.
